We would like to reassure you that this application has been designed to offer continuos trouble free usage. Even though this program has been carefully tested on various windows platforms throughout its development phase, there may be times when system conflicts occur, for any number of unforeseeable reasons.

In such cases, please contact the software developer directly at Strish Technologies by going to their Subliminal Master portal at www.strish.com/subliminalmaster.

You will need to describe as precisely as possible what happens (or doesn't happen), and make a note of any error number & error messages that your system displays on your screen. In most cases, by using the error number displayed, we can recreate the error on our development system to see what is causing the conflict/malfunction.

We are confident that this application runs correctly on all versions of Windows, and your feedback, if any, will allow us to fix any bugs in the code, and thus maintain our highest standards. Where there are any problems with your copy of this software, we will aim to diagnose and fix the problem as soon as we can, and then offer you the link to re-download the 'fixed' program.

Common queries so far reported are:

User created categories do not show up in the list of presets! Any 'self-created' categories, will only appear at the bottom of the alphabetical list of presets! This is an intentional design feature, for it allows you, at any future time, to export your created categories to another machine, and to prevent user created categories from corrupting the presets. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the list to find your own categories!

Messages seem to 'hang' or get 'frozen' on screen. This is not a software problem, the 'freezing' of messages only occurs when your systems resources are being called to another application, such as when opening Outlook Express, for example, or when surfing web pages with heavy graphics, flash or audio components. The messages will resume their correct display speed once system resources have been automatically reallocated.

Message speed doesn't seem accurate. The Subliminal Master has been accurately calibrated to display messages correctly at the chosen frequency/duration. However, the message frequency or duration is also dependent on your systems 'refresh rates'. If you believe your messages are flashing at incorrect speeds, please refer to the Windows help pages, searching for help on "Refresh rates". Below is an example of the Windows XP help on refresh rates:

To change the refresh frequency for your monitor:

• Open Display in Control Panel
• On the Settings tab, click Advanced
• On the Monitor tab, in the Refresh Frequency list, click a new refresh rate

To open Display, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.

The default refresh frequency setting is 100 Hertz, although your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information regarding the settings your monitor supports.

A higher refresh frequency reduces any flicker on your screen, but choosing a setting that is too high for your monitor can make your display unusable and cause damage to your hardware. Changes to the refresh frequency affect all users that log on to the computer.
